I had only ever dabbled in yoga until recently but not really gone for it. Over summer I had been having a tough time and used Felix’s daily classes as a real anchor for my life. I began going twice a day to his classes and in daily practice I found a new kind of strength in less than a week. A physical strength for sure, but also a mental strength I had never felt before and was in great need of at the time as well. After just 3 days of double yoga sessions daily, I now: Do a headstand; feel strength in my (previously floppy) body; feel grounded and emotionally stronger; more connected to everything and resilient in my spirit. I can’t praise Felix highly enough!
In his lessons, Felix draws from his immense wealth of personal experience and training, whereby he is able to demonstrate and assist his class as a whole, as well as the individual in a way that is tailored to suit their specific needs. He is the very embodiment of his art and practice and his mere presence is an inspiration.Its with great honour that I call Felix my teacher in the way of yoga.
Felix is one of the most inspirational people I know. His commitment to helping people is admirable and in yoga, his teachings are such that anyone can join at whatever level they are at. His insight into life has helped me accept who I am, my circumstances and why I am here. As a healer, he has so many different influences and sources to draw upon that have enhanced my wellbeing, not just in the short term, but as life manifestos.
A year ago, I returned to practice yoga, having not practiced for 10yrs and this became a spiritual awakening for me at a very difficult time in my life. From the day I turned up at Felix’s class I have become liberated on a spiritual journey of my own. I have found Felix to be one of the most inspirational people i’ve ever met, he exudes happiness, contentment and calmness and a spiritual awareness that I have never seen before. Practice with Felix has been challenging and dynamic at times but he always considers individual abilities and provides assistance with adjustments in the postures throughout. No matter how you feel when you arrive at practice, you will always walk away feeling totally refreshed, rejuvenated and invigorated. I’m loving the way that the early rise yoga sets me up for the day ahead! I cannot thank Felix enough for helping me realise my potential.
I have been regularly attending Felix’s Yoga classes for over a year and have felt so many benefits as a result. I am a gardener and spend a lot of my time doing fairly physical work and before starting the classes had been noticing a lot of general stiffness in my body especially in the morning before work. This has improved massively since I have been attending classes and I now am able to reach and hold postures I would not believed were possible for me last year. As well as the work we do in classes Felix also is very good at giving you the tools and motivation needed to establish your own practice outside of the classes. As well as the improvements in flexibility I have also felt many other benefits including greater body awareness, improved quality of breathing and greater mental calmness. I highly recommend Felix and his classes!
